We have several fun events planned to help everyone connect and enjoy the week together:

• Welcome Meet & Greet – Kick off your vacation by getting to know your fellow travelers at our exclusive welcome gathering.
• RIU Parties – RIU Resorts are known for their high-energy, adults-only themed parties! We’ll share the exact schedule as we get closer. Past themes include the Pink Party, Neon Party, White Party, and more.
• ​Group Photos – We’ll have opportunities throughout the week to take group photos and capture some great memories.
• Group Chat – As our vacation approaches, you’ll be invited to join our group chat so you can stay connected with everyone before and during your stay.
• Group Tours – Closer to departure, we'll have some exciting group tours available to allow you to explore the local area.

Extended Stay Option:
While our official group dates are October 17th to 22nd, you’re welcome to extend your adventure! You can arrive up to 3 days early (October 14-16) and/or stay up to 3 days longer (October 23-25) for an additional cost.

Additional Information

Flights: 
Flights will be available approximately 10 months prior to travel. You will need to arrange your own flights to/from Liberia Guanacaste Airport (LIR) arriving anytime on October 17, 2027, and departing anytime (preferably afternoon) on October 22, 2027. Most major airlines offer service to LIR. It's best to book airfare directly with the airline; not through a third-party website like Expedia. In the event of changes, delays, cancellations, you'll want to work directly with the airline, not through a third-party. 

Transfers: 
Roundtrip airport transfers can be purchased with your resort reservation. You will have the option to add transfers on the reservation form. Closer to departure, your flight information will be collected to schedule your transfers. Travel time is approximately 50 minutes. 

• Shared Transfers (a shared ride that stops at multiple resorts) - $48 per person roundtrip
  • Note: With a shared transfer, you may have to wait until the van is full before it will depart. The van may make multiple stops before arriving at your resort. This can add an hour or more to your transfer time. A private transfer is highly recommended!
• Private Transfers (nonstop service in your own vehicle) - $232 per vehicle roundtrip (valid for up to 8 passengers on the same flights).

Insurance: After reserving your room, you'll receive a travel insurance quote. This allows you to review the policy's cost and coverage details before deciding whether to purchase it. Once you've booked your flights, they can be added to the policy for an additional cost, ensuring they are covered as well. While travel insurance is optional, it is highly recommended for peace of mind and added protection.

​Passports: All guest must be US Citizens and will need a US passport valid for at least six months after travel ends. Passports can take several months to be processed, so it's best to order or renew yours now if needed. Passport information can be found here.
